The Investinginbonds.com site was created by The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association to help educate investors. The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association(SIFMA) represents the industry which powers the global economy. Born of the merger between The Securities Industry Association and The Bond Market Association, SIFMA is the single powerful voice for strengthening markets and supporting investors -- the world over. The Foundation for Investor Education (FIE), SIFMA Foundation For Investor Education, and the New York District Economic Education Foundation, merged to form the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association Foundation for Investor Education (SIFMA Foundation).
Our dynamic, new organization is passionately dedicated to representing more than 650 member firms of all sizes, in all financial markets in the U.S. and around the world. We are committed to enhancing the public’s trust and confidence in the markets, delivering an efficient, enhanced member network of access and forward-looking services, as well as premiere educational resources for the professionals in our industry and the investors whom they serve.

About Our Partnership
SIFMA is a non-profit industry association that represents the shared interests of participants in the global financial markets. SIFMA members include international securities firms, U.S.-registered broker-dealers, and asset managers. The Association represents the industry on regulatory and legislative issues and initiatives, and also serves as a forum for outreach, training, education, and community involvement. Member participation is the very core of who we are and the key to our effectiveness.

- Path to Investing – An US investor education web site about investing, containing non-commercial, unbiased information for making financial decisions, financial planning, preparing for retirement, protecting investors and understanding how the financial markets work.
The Stock Market Game – A curriculum-based program where student teams in grades 4-12 learn long-term saving and investing fundamentals with a hypothetical brokerage account. The program serves 20,000 teachers and 700,000 students annually. Teachers receive grade-level specific curriculum guides, lesson plans and newsletters to incorporate the program into their core mathematics
