Foreign Activity Report Second Quarter 2010
SIFMA recently released a report providing extensive data on U.S. transactions in foreign securities and foreign transactions in U.S. securities for the second quarter of the year. The 22-page report provides statistics on the largest transactions of foreign securities by American investors and, likewise, the biggest purchases of U.S. securities by foreign countries and international organizations. The report breaks down gross transactions and sales by U.S. investors of foreign bonds and stocks, and provides statistics on foreign transactions of U.S. Treasury notes and bonds, U.S. Agency notes, U.S. corporate bonds, and U.S. corporate stocks, among other data.
